Post RFP Information and Responses to Questions
RFP for Training Related to Demand Occupations
1. Does a bidder have to bid on all training described in the RFP, or can a proposer submit a proposal to deliver only limited training; for example, just computer training?
No, a bidder does not have to bid on all training described in the RFP. A bidder may submit a proposal to deliver a single subject area or a number of subject areas that meet the criteria of the RFP.
2. Who is the audience to receive this training?
Given the current high unemployment rate, it is anticipated that a great number of customers participating in the short term training will be WIA dislocated workers. However, this training is also available to WIA adult and older youth participants and we anticipate that they too will attend these classes.
3. Is bidding open to local businesses and organizations only, or can non-local businesses and organizations submit bids also?
Proposals will be accepted from both local and non-local businesses and organizations. There are no geographic restrictions as to the location of the proposer; however, the training services themselves must be delivered locally.
