State University, Ivy Tech State College, Purdue University-Vigo
County Extension, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods
College, Terre Haute Center for Medical Education, Vigo County School
Corporation and Vincennes University. Led by ISU, the Alliance has
a dual purpose:
- To increase the effectiveness
and efficiency of the member institutions whenever possible
in programs, research, and service to the community; and,
- To develop collaborative efforts with
other organizations and constituencies in order to better serve
the Wabash Valley’s need for education, research, economic
development and to improve the quality of life.
The Alliance collaborates within a diverse
range of initiatives by utilizing Discussion Groups ranging from
diversity, enhancing campus and community life, and the Dual Career
Network, to needs of the workforce, and media relations. The consortium
strives toward goals of achieving better community linkages and
expanding value to local economic development efforts.
