Training
A basic principal of the WorkOne system is that by helping individuals
and employers succeed, we improve the economy of our region. The quality
of life in a region is a reflection of the economic viability of that
region. Efforts to help individuals succeed must ensure that the education
and training that are in demand by employers are available. Today’s
employers require a new set of skills. In addition technical and computer
skills, there is a growing demand for teamwork and problem-solving
skills. Individuals without these in-demand skill sets will find it
difficult to gain employment that can sustain a family.
Western Indiana is in the fortunate position of having some of the
best educational institutions in the state within our boundaries.
Whether you are seeking a short term class to enhance skills you already
have or an advanced degree, the WorkOne system can help you find it.
In addition, we can help you measure the skills you already have and
build upon them.
